This year we have enjoyed many courses. The Education committee outdid themselves. We covered Hardanger, for beginners, an “I Love Fall” mini quilt, a Fat Quarter Bag, beading of many different styles, knitting, Brazilian Embroidery, Shadow embroidery; a quilted Christmas runner, a jeweled card, crochet, chenille bag, tatting, bargello placemats, a beaded thistle flower and much more.
We have four general meetings with two potlucks and two speakers. At this time we also have a show and tell. This gives the Education Committee ideas for next years classes as well from our “Open House”.
We have an extensive library which our Librarian collects a fee from us if we don’t wear our name tag – this money goes toward more books.
In March we had a social evening with a penny table, charity knitting, and jewellery making along with UFOs and chatting over coffee and goodies.
It has been a good year of many classes and meeting members new and old.
